1) whether I like female or male
Guy lor. Tho er, I know surely there's some funny person will say I like girl. =x
2) 8 criteria for my ideal partner
-MUST like animals. It is a MUST because I definitely will turn my house into a mini-zoo in the future.
-Understands music. But don't go all classical on me (like YD kia. He's getting under my nerves such that I BLOCK *oops* him on MSN now. Come, if he knows, go on and don't talk to me bah. I don't give a damn liao.).
-Preferably in the same field as me bah. So got more common topics.
-Not more than 3 years older. More than that got generation gap.
-Please be taller than me, and not too skinny, not too fat either.
-No major illness or genetic defiency.
-Cannot earn less than me as well.
-Can tolerate my mood swings. And not be a pessimist.
-Er, a few more. Don't every 5 min ask me where I am, what I am doing, who I am with. It's downright irritating, and I don't buy the crap saying you're concern. =x Bullshit la. You're insecure that's for sure. And ah, don't try to convert me to like things I really don't like, but you like, coz I am me and you are you. If I am you you are me, then might as well fuse together. WTF. Last one, must understand why I like Jap stuff.
3) list out 8 friends whom I hope to see them doing this in their blog too
Eh. Angel, Weebee, Juan, and I don't know liao. Nat bah. 8 pple is too many.
gah. After doing this tag, I feel I might as well stay single lor. None of the guys will make it to all 11 of my categories.

Read what the cat says today...Yesterday was another gathering of some sort with the people in my lab. My lab seems quite happening hor. Anyway, the senior lab officer got promoted (to what post I dunno la, definitely confined to lab that's for sure), so she invited us to her house for a BBQ. She's rich ok. Boss and another guy (lecturer) were invited, and us the small fries on the same level too. It was a fun gossipy dinner with both the honours students and the post-grads. Actually it was more like an interrogating session for one of the ex-post-grad. *scandalous news only for those who were under him when he was still a TA in NUS* In the midst of his interrogation, he was trying to set me up with one of the honours guy. -_- "Good Christian guy!" The one who folded flowers for everyone in lab during Valentine's la. Er, thankx but no thanks eh. If he's not a Christian I may consider.
Now, I'm not anti the religion, but just that two people of different religion can't really be together without having conflicts about the religion eh? It explains why most Christians want to find a bf/gf of the same religion. -shrugs- *Oh, and he's my senior too! As in, was from NJ as well, this honours guy. *
Dinner ended pretty late, and we all (the small fries) left at 11.45. -_- There were 8 of us, and someone suggested going KBox. Gah. So late liao so I went home. The rest went AMK KBox, and who knows what time they left. Hehehe.
Why we left so late was coz, the host insisted we help her finish up 2 bottles of wine that were only half consumed. So everyone except two who were driving had to drink. Yep, me drank 1 glass of 13.5% alcohol red wine. And someone commented, "Eh, JR's face don't turn red one! Can drink some more!" -_- And us being Life Science pple, the conversation changed to how people like me whose face doesn't turn red lack NADH and can't metabolise the alcohol or what not. So the conclusion is, I should not drink so much. =x *what the* Oh, and I wasn't tipsy at all. Muahahaha. Maybe 1 glass only.
Long long day tomorrow. Ciao. When I play with my cat, who knows if I am not a pasttime for her more than she is to me?---Michel deMontaigne---

Read what the cat says today...One week since I last blogged. Haiz busy busy busy this mid-term break. It's really no holidays actually. I went back to school everyday, and got chased around by my boss. =x *sigh* My report has to be churned out soon if not I'll never get a decent grade for UROPS.
Monday: Went to school to have lunch with zl. Interesting lunch I'll say. Finally I'd ate at every faculty canteen. Muahahaha. Were gossiping *yes gossip* and comparing animes and *ahhm* photos. Hehehe.
Tuesday: Saw my mentor cried, and heard that she had been crying since Friday. And she "abandoned" me since Wednesday. Which explains why I'm being chased around by my boss. AAAHHHHH!! Come back ah!! Don't leave me alone leh!! =x
After I left lab, went to kajiao Takeda sensei. Muahahaha. His stomach growled DAMN LOUDLY when he was going through my grammar practices!! *chuckles* Okok now I understand why some silly girls like him. He's nice la, but as I was talking to Juan this afternoon, Takeda the most can only be Onichan (older brother). Kare (bf) is totally out of question!!
Wednesday: Grand outing by almost the whole Microbiology Department!!! They all went from school, but I went from home. It was lunch @ The Rice Table @ Suntec, and I couldn't find it. -_- Anyway, was a good lunch. Ala carte style buffet of Indonesian food. The satay sauce is abit too thick though, but nonetheless yummilicious. It was a turnout of about 70 people, with all the big-shot Profs and A/Ps, with mostly students from my boss' lab, me included la. After lunch we went shopping, and since my lab has 4 Honours student, only 1 of whom is a guy, he just tagged along and the gals were stopping @ different apparels shops. Apparently he was used to shopping with the gals!!! Muahaha. Nice guy I'd say, coz for Valentine's Day he made paper flower, each with a Hershey's kisses, and gave everyone in lab. Muahahaha so cute right.
Thursday: KTV!!!!! Met up with zl and lia and had a not bad time singing away @ Clementi's KBox. I forgot we can sing till 2.30, and told Takeda sensei I'll go kajiao him again @ 2. Gaaaahh. Nearing 2 I called his office..and ah told a little lie. Muahaha. Ended up singing till about 2.45 and reached campus @ 3. =x Apparently Takeda sensei listens to Mr Children and Exile! Guess these two bands shouldn't ring a bell in most of you.
And was again chased by my boss when I reached lab. These days I have one too many meetings with boss to explain about the results I'd gotten. *tears hair out*
Today: Woke up too late again and rushed to school, almost slept throughout my whole journey. Physio was boring. The uncle best. Uploaded a set of notes of only 17 slides for us, but for his lecture, the number of slides in his ppt file was 75!!!! What the.
After meeting with boss AGAIN, I took a taxi down to Singapore Japanese School Clementi Campus, because I was late, thanks to boss la. Gaaahh. No ill feelings to boss though, he's still quite ok la. Not fierce and don't scold people. Anyway, the Japanese School visit was really an eye-opener. The kids look cute, BUT but they're damn loud! And violent! Girls too! They pound on their friends, girls kick guys and vice versa. And boy. DO THEY SCREAM. Very very active bunch of kids. My group was observing the Primary 2 mother tongue class, and the kids ask question very promptly. Very different with Singaporean kids. When one raises his/her hand and speak, there're bound to be others who follow. Thank God I can still understand 70-80% of what they say, and can ask the kids some questions too. The funniest thing was, Juan and I were talking to 4 little girls, and they realised my earrings, and asked when I pierced my ears, was if painful, can I remove the earring for them to see. And, as I was removing my earring, they ALL SCREAMED and SCREAMED. -_- After satisfying their curiosity, I was about to put it back into my earhole, they SCREAMED again. -_- And all went and crowded behind me and see how I put it back. Iyoh so cute right. Apparently they don't like Hello Kitty or Pokemon, coz when I asked if they like, they SREAMED "IYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~~~~~~" (NOOOOOOOOOO!!!). They're super super loud. And they have short attention span too I think.
I sure hope to see the kids again! Be it @ Isetan or Kinokuniya. Muahahaha. Loud but certainly very cute kids.
I really believe I can't be in a relationship. My heart is starting to sway away from small eyes le. Good or bad I don't know la. And these days..I find YD kia a tad annoying. I just don't feel like talking to him, on or offline. And he smsed me out of the blue and said he think I'd changed. -shrugs- He said don't understand why I'm so concerned about my Jap stuff and what not. None of his business la. Oh, and keeps asking about my UROPS too.
My point is, once I don't like someone already, or rather, there's someone new for me to get crazy about, I don't feel like keeping in touch with the *person* of the past. Which means I DO tend to stray. Gah.When I play with my cat, who knows if I am not a pasttime for her more than she is to me?---Michel deMontaigne---

Read what the cat says today...I think I forgot how to cry. =x Or maybe the notion "Don't cry don't cry." has been set too deeply in my min ever since 1st Jan 05. It's been 1 yr plus since I last cried, and recently I felt things are getting a little too bottled up, yet I can't let it out.
Yupz, zt oyu're right. I can always look for you to spill it out. Thanx peeps. =)When I play with my cat, who knows if I am not a pasttime for her more than she is to me?---Michel deMontaigne---
